ARIEL MACEO

My name is Ariel Maceo Tellez, young Cuban poet, photographer and writer. From my beginnings in literature I began to denounce the violations of cultural and human rights and the lack of freedom that exists in Cuba. For this reason I suffered great political repression for several years. Arrests, interrogations, threats of jail, house arrests, physical attacks on my life. I was regulated in Cuba, I was prohibited from leaving the country. I managed to file a complaint against the Minister of the Interior of Cuba. I am currently exiled in Mexico. I am one of the coordinators of the Demóngeles group, Co-founder of the independent publishing house Oncritika Ediciones. I have published three books of poetry outside of Cuba.
